Intimate Wedding at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. La Jolla, CA | Lilli & Cole
After meeting Lilli and Cole for their engagement shoot, I had the pleasure of running into them again before their big day! A week earlier, they had been guests at Bethany and Eric’s reception. This time, it was their turn and Bethany got to come along with all her flower magic! Working with friends is always the best and it is such an honor to have other wedding professional recommend me.
Their proposal was one of the first things Lilli told me about her and Cole. She took him on his first ever trip to Disneyland. Naturally it was a magical day, and he proposed that night! That has to be the most magical way to end a day at Disney and I couldn’t wait to make magic for their wedding.
The Lodge at Torrey Pines is known for their golf courses, but I love it for the incredible craftsman charm and architecture! It’s also suited to hold weddings in all range of sizes and was perfect for Lilli and Cole’s intimate event. Their wedding at The Lodge at Torrey Pines was personal and magical. Lilli and Cole kept things intimate with a guest list of 18 family members. They had their ceremony at a cozy spot in the middle of the hotel, afterwards retreating to an intimate space on the edge of the golf course for dinner. As everyone got settled in for dinner, the sun started to set and you could hear the wilder residents of the golf course welcoming the moon.
It is always so special to be a part of these intimate days. The trust, and ultimate friendship of these personal days is my favorite part of what I get to do. Lilli and Cole, thank you so so much for letting me into your circle. Now let’s grab a drink again soon!!
