Is there anything more magical than weather? Maybe it’s the New England in me, but I always get excited when couples are willing to brave the elements for photos. Weather is something we have no control over, so I always think it’s special when it shows up and offers the opportunity for photos that not everyone can get. This day was no exception.

If you’re anything like me, you probably don’t love having your photo taken. While Kaitlin originally didn’t want to even have a photographer, Chris was able to convince her and we ended up having a blast! Having the trial run of an engagement shoot before the wedding has always lead to confident and trusting clients day of. Even if you have had your photos taken as couple, having the time to connect and see my process not only helps my couples relax, but also allows family and friends to feel like they can relax and put their phone away during the wedding.

I’m so grateful that Kaitlin and Chris put their trust in me. These magical rainy photos had me so giddy and a rainbow even came out at the end to let us know we crushed it.
