On NYE 2021, George proposed to Michelle, and the hunt for a wedding venue began. The sixth venue they toured was Building 177 in Liberty Station. After the tour, they stopped by Stone Brewing to have dinner and mull over their choices of venues. During their meal, they noticed Stone had options for event spaces. A week later they toured and booked their wedding at Stone Brewing, the attraction that caused George to fall in love with San Diego three and a half years earlier.
