California vibes Portrait session at La Valencia in La Jolla. | Vanessa Kim and Chloe

It is always the biggest compliment when other photographers ask me to photograph them. Vanessa is a Sydney based photographer. She brought her daughter, Chloe and girlfriend Kim with her on a vacation to San Diego from Australia and gifted Kim with this photo sesh!

I had a blast showing them around La Jolla. Vanessa was really hoping to capture classic, beachy and pink San Diego vibes, so I recommended we start at La Valencia. Surrounded by palm trees, La Valencia has the most incredible pink facade that screams classic Souther California. It’s also steps away from the beach and you can go see all the seals! Chloe is a total cartoon character and ran circles around us chasing seagulls and posing like a pro.

It was a delight to photograph this perfect little fam and I hope they come back to visit soon!
