Katelynn and Anthony met in Balboa Park, so they figured it would be the perfect place for their wedding!! They kicked off the day getting ready at the stunning Pendry Hotel. After a first look in Balboa Park, they headed to the St Francis Chapel, which is part of the Museum of Us! After an intimate ceremony, we were able to explore the museum a bit and take photos! We met the rest of the wedding at Herb & Wood, for a gorgeous and delicious reception. Amanda, of Spark and Sage Coordination kept the day running perfectly!!

Sam and Nick planned a gorgeous, old Hollywood inspired day to celebrate with friends and fam! They had a gorgeous ceremony outside, under the huge magnolia tree on the property. We went straight from the I-Do’s, to the ancient elevator and up to the roof! The sunset was straight out of Star Wars, filling the sky with an incredible orange.

But then I had a lightbulb moment and decided why not ask him? He was my best friend and as much as I wanted to be proposed to to see a man show his vulnerability and love for me, I knew I didn’t need it because Austin shows me everyday he loves me. I never have to question it. There’s no one else I would rather do life with.

To find their seats, each guest had a personalized Fast pass to tables honoring the couples favorite Disney movies. My favorite detail from the day was an old tv that Stephanie repurposed for a cake stand. On the tv, she had The Skeleton Dance on loop, one of Disney’s first animated cartoons.

Read MoreFor their big day, the design focus was Modern, Moody and Warm. With ultimate design queens Luna Design Studios, they transformed The Villa Royal into a iridescent and playful wonderland!!! Darth Vader was the ring bearer and each guest found their way to their seat via a customized Lego figurine made by the grooms! Daniel told me they lost count of how many times they ended up at the Lego store. Legos also made their way into the boutonnières and table numbers.

We’re so glad that we did one and were able to have a quiet and special moment for just us in between that craziness of the day! Especially for a bride like me, who was really hands on (at the venue setting up and putting out fires until 45 minutes before Maddie arrived LOL), I enjoy the chaos of prep but having a moment to take a breath just the two of us was really the recharge we needed before the event.
